Paralegal & Client Intake Specialist
Reed S. Albers is a Paralegal & Client Intake Specialist at Virginia Family Law Center, where he serves as a first point of contact for individuals navigating divorce and other family law challenges.
His calm communication style, thoughtful approach, and genuine empathy help clients feel supported from the moment they reach out. He focuses on listening carefully, understanding client’s needs, and guiding them through divorce and family law matters.
Reed earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and later completed his Paralegal Certification at George Mason University. Before entering the legal field, he spent more than a decade in journalism, communications, and social media strategy. He worked as a Sports Editor for the Fairfax County Times covering local preps sports teams, and as the Washington Capitals Correspondent for the Washington Post Express during the worst seasons of Alex Ovechkin’s career. He later held social media and digital marketing roles in the video game and cryptocurrency industry.
Outside of work, Reed serves on the Board of Directors for his community swim team in the Prince William County Swim League, the Kingsbrooke Sea Lions, is an avid guitarist, and serves as a taxi driver for his daughters’ gymnastics, swim, and dance practices.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding service I received from Virginia Family Law. From the moment I reached out to them last year regarding my legal matter, I felt supported, informed, and confident in their ability to handle my case with professionalism and care.
