Mr. Patton received a Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law, has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 2007, and is currently a member of the Fairfax Bar Association. While in law school, Mr. Patton participated in the Domestic Relations Legal Clinic, providing legal services to clients in uncontested divorces. He was also president of the Black Law Students Association.
Mr. Patton has appeared in courts throughout Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Arlington, Clarke, Fairfax, Frederick, King George, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Winchester.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Patton earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Prior to attending law school, he held various management positions with several professional associations in the Washington, D.C. area, and studied intermediate American Sign Language at Northern Virginia Community College.
